Named after the Japanese concept of Awai—a subtle boundary where one thing becomes another—the Awai Collection captures formations created in the delicate moment between motion and stillness.
As the glass is blown and shaped, colored frits drift across its surface before coming to rest in their final form. No two spheres are ever alike. Each sphere holds a suspended landscape of drifting forms, which become the visual DNA of each piece, lending it its own rhythm, character, and vibrancy. The resulting patterns suggest movement held in stillness and togetherness without uniformity.
